What is a sub-processor

A sub-processor is a third-party data processor engaged by Remesh who receives Customer Personal Data from Remesh for processing on behalf of our Customers and in accordance with our Customers’ instructions (as communicated by Remesh). Remesh engages different types of sub-processors to perform various functions as explained in the tables below.

Due Diligence

Remesh undertakes to use a commercially reasonable selection process by which it evaluates the security, privacy, and confidentiality practices of proposed sub-processors.

This policy does not give Customers any additional rights or remedies and should not be construed as a binding agreement. The information herein is only provided to illustrate Remesh’s engagement process for sub-processors as well as to provide the actual list of third-party sub-processors used by Remesh as of the date of this policy (which Remesh may use in the delivery and support of its Services).

Process to Engage New Sub-Processors:

Remesh undertakes to keep this list updated regularly to enable its Customers to stay informed of the scope of sub-processing associated with the Remesh Solutions.

The following is an up-to-date list (as of the date of this policy) of the names, purpose, applicable Remesh Services, and data hosting locations of Remesh sub-processors:

II. Third Party Service Providers

Remesh may use Third Party Services providers for sample panel sourcing, moderators, and researchers and in rare cases related translation services. If applicable, the Order will specify that such Third Party Services may be used. Some of these entities may be considered to be ‘sub-processors’ under applicable data protection laws. Others may have a different role under the data protection laws. These differing roles are described in the Remesh Privacy Policy. These Third Party Services providers are determined by Remesh at the time that a conversation is scheduled based on the particular needs of the conversation (such as language requirements, timing, etc.). Remesh will select the Third Party Services providers from the Remesh Third Party Services provider list which can be found at https://www.remesh.ai/third-party-services. Such list may be updated monthly and such changes will take effect on the first day of the next month following the date on which the list is updated. It is Customer’s obligation to check the list to prior to running a Conversation. Upon Customer’s request, Remesh will identify the specific Third Party Services providers (from the posted list) to be used for Customer’s project. If Customer objects to any Third Party Services provider, Remesh reserves the right to postpone the affected scheduled Solutions.
