Accessibility Statement

Remesh’s mission is to help us understand one another. To understand one another, we have to be able to hear all voices, and so accessibility is critical to our mission.

To make our platform accessible, we endeavor to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 criteria. The WCAG 2.1 criteria are the most recent guidelines for creating websites that are ADA and 508 compliant.

In 2022, the Remesh teams worked toward making the participant and observer experience compliant with Level A and AA WCAG 2.1 criteria. To this end, we engaged with a non-profit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to audit our platform and provide specific recommendations for improving accessibility. The audit used a wide variety of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies, including screen readers. We have since improved our platform to incorporate these recommendations and to be in compliance with Level A and AA WCAG 2.1 criteria.

We continue to retest our platform and strive to improve its accessibility. If you would like to let us know of accessibility issues you’ve experienced on our platform, please send us an email at: accessibility@remesh.org.
